Friday’s Finds

Collage of items found on Bluebeard's Beach, St. Thomas, VI

Tossed and tumbled by the sandy seawater, the innermost spiral of the shell washes ashore velvety smooth and creamy white. They remind me of white Calla Lillies.

  1. Just found your blog and want to wish you well. I am at the tail end of a six month stay on St Thomas. It indeed was an adventure, but we always knew we would be short timers, so a bit different. We return to the other world on Saturday.

The island is frustrating, confusing, unwelcoming… and the most incredible experience of our life. Loved every minute. Do, see, enjoy and be patient (and have the Pineapple/Jerk chicken wings at WiKKed).

    I have 2 blogs… one is a foodie blog

but I also did a daily photo scrapbook type blog, something new everyday that you might like to take a look at.

    • Thank you! I’m sorry we are literally just missing each other, and I wish you well on your return to the mainland tomorrow!! I enjoyed your blogs and I love that you started a picture blog…it’s nearly impossible NOT to take at least one incredible and beautiful picture every day.

Your words are well chosen…and I know that for us, getting here has been the hardest and most incredibly wonderful thing we’ve ever done. I appreciate every bit of it, and it just keeps getting better and better! Thanks for the tip…. first chance I get, I’ll be over at WiKKed for some wings!

Looking forward to checking in when you’re back up and running on the cul-de-sac. Safe journeys, and always joy!
